During my stay, I found the hotel's location to be very convenient for my needs, with plenty of food and drink options nearby. The rooms had a somewhat old-fashioned smell initially, but once that dissipated, they were comfortable. The hotel's restaurant was fabulous, offering decently priced meals. However, there were some issues with the room cooling quickly. The service was friendly overall, but there was a small slip-up in revealing my suite number to someone unauthorized. The area is easy to access and central to my activities, but not the best neighborhood. Overall, a decent choice with a few drawbacks to consider.

I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms at this hotel; like cigarettes, they were a great little bonus at no additional cost just by upgrading the bed size. The service was top-notch, accommodating my need for a ground floor room without hesitation, although I wish they had informed me about the pool and hot tub hours. The location was excellent, providing easy access to all Vancouver attractions and staying away from all noise sources, making it an ideal spot.
